02 The Workshop

Old wood deserves the patience of a different era.

Heritage Wood Revival is a small atelier of five craftsmen working from a converted warehouse on Old Middlefield Way. Every project is documented, every finish is sampled, and nothing leaves the bench until it meets the standard we would want for our own homes.

From a single dining chair to an entire 1908 parquet floor, we treat each commission as an exercise in restraint — preserving the character of the original piece rather than erasing it.

Four steps, no surprises.

A structured process that keeps you informed at every stage and leaves no room for hidden line items or shifting timelines.

Consultation & assessment

We meet at the workshop or on-site, examine the piece, discuss your intent, and outline what is possible within the object's limits.

Written proposal

A detailed estimate with scope of work, material specifications, finish samples, and a firm completion window. No hidden line items.

Restoration by hand

Work proceeds at the bench with weekly photo updates. If anything unexpected surfaces, you are told before we proceed.

04

Inspection & delivery

A final quality review, care instructions, and — for local clients — white-glove delivery back to your home or project site.
